One of Sisters' most anticipated community business events is returning this summer, giving residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors an opportunity to experience the innovation happening behind the scenes of some of the area's most recognizable companies.
Hosted by Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO), the Made in Sisters Tour will take place on Thursday, July 16, offering participants exclusive access to three businesses that represent the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of Sisters.
The guided walking tour highlights how local companies contribute to the region's economy while showcasing the diverse industries that call Sisters home.
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Sisters Innovation
This year's tour will feature visits to three businesses with very different specialties, each playing an important role in Central Oregon's economy.
BASX
BASX is a nationally recognized manufacturer of mission-critical air handling systems used in cleanrooms, semiconductor facilities, healthcare environments, and other highly controlled spaces.
Visitors will learn how advanced engineering and manufacturing take place right here in Sisters.
Boxkill
Boxkill is redefining compact living through innovative aluminum housing solutions designed for efficiency, functionality, and modern lifestyles.
The company represents the growing spirit of innovation found throughout Central Oregon's manufacturing sector.
Sisters Coffee Company
Founded in 1989, Sisters Coffee Company has become one of Central Oregon's most beloved coffee brands.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the roasting process, the company's history, and its continued commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
More Than a Business Tour
While the Made in Sisters Tour highlights local companies, it also celebrates what makes Sisters such a unique place to live and work.

The tour begins with registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by welcome remarks at 10:00 a.m.
Guided tours will run from 10:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m., with lunch provided afterward by Luckey's Woodsman.
Because the event includes walking between locations, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
